Wednesday night was SCA night @ Circus and it seems my 'running like water' session has moved on to some other mug as i was bleeding money left, right and centre.
The night started relatively well, Aces and Queens within the first few hands, flopping a full boat with the latter but failed to get paid all that handsomely.
Sat with about a 50% profit on my buyin i was quietly confident this was to be another good innings, but it wasn't to be.
Looking around the table, i felt like i was playing the Neo-Nazi Invitational with 'Fattening Stripes' Varzee on my left and Grosvenor's resident athlete gotTilt on my right, and thats not mentioning the walking tattoo'd protein keg at the opposite end.
Inbetween Chris attacking every member of staff within shouting distance because he couldn't get a salad for less than twenty quid, and Varzee putting his intimidating hair style (or lack there of) to good use by stealing everything he could from random punters, i somehow found myself down to 11 quid without really knowing how.
Outdraws, Outplays and Counterfeits were the theme of my night, and after two (and a half) buyins i decide to call it a day, leaving Rosco to jump in the dead man's chair before it even had a chance to cool down.
Im off for a cup of tea and the rest of my Digestives.. small mercies eh?
The fact you went home early answered all my questions on how you ran when I got to the table at 11.40pm. Some nice descriptions of people though there mate, proper lol. Unlucky night.
