Fortnight-mare

My blog has been quiet lately, mostly because there's very little going on in the poker world worth blogging about, only Tiger Woods has a bigger down swing than me at present.

Scooping the first £2k guaranteed tournament at the Grosvenor seems to have put a curse over me. Tournaments: no, Cash: nuh-uh, Mini-golf: shite, BlackJack: you're having a laugh. Nowt.

Through either horrific outdraws, getting it in bad or simply choosing the wrong person to bluff i haven't had a decent run in a tournament for 2 weeks now, which is tempting me back to playing ABC for a while, as boring as that notion seems.

In that same space of time i must have played BlackJack 4 times, i don't think i've won 1 hand, so i'm officially never playing again. Worst, Game, Ever.

If it wasn't for the good weather i think i'd be depressed by now. The sun has been shining though, and combined with a few days off work i seem to be taking this bad run quite well. Even the 2 outters aren't affecting these days, shrugging them off like they're fully expected (which they are).

Arriving at Circus early before the tournament on Sunday i see Jim training up the new influx of dealers on the cash table and can't resist taking a seat to play one of the stacks, needless to say that went just as well, getting my chips in good and coming out last.. I can't even win with playchips. Having said that though the new girls all seem quite cute, so who am i to argue.. wp / gg to all involved in the recruitment process.

Think i may give poker a wide berth for a week to see if that pleases the gods.

Things are looking up this morning though as i've arrived at work to find we have no access to the London server which stores all the AutoCAD licenses (hence me writing this dribble), so maybe this could be the start of a nice up swing.

I might eat my way through a pack of biscuits this morning, there's shite all else to do after all.
